      New Life Assembly, Hyderabad, is committed to motivate and mobilize its members from all walks of life to obey our Lord's commission - "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel", focusing especially on planting churches in the cities of India.

3. NLAG Mission Activities Defined

      3.1: Short Term Mission Trips

• The church plans to have about six short term mission trips from date till September 2010.
• Each of these teams will consist of about 8 to 10 people.
• The trip will last for about 6 to 8 days – including travel.
• The teams will work with local AG Church or a local missionary who is supported by the NLAG

     3.2: Support to Bible College Students

• As the Lord enables, we will, on a selective basis send a few to the Bible college.
• Those who are sent must have a calling for full-time ministry.

• This is not meant for fresh candidates. Long term missions will be considered for candidates having the required qualification and experience.
• We feel that the people who are called for long term mission work need to be equipped.>
• The equipping process may take few years which would include Bible College Training and practical training by working with an existing AG Church.

• This is exclusively for people who have a call for planting of churches in the twin cities.
• An individual or couple may start a small prayer group or an evening meeting and soon realize that they have a gifting in the area of church planting.
• If the couple than decides to take this up as their long term ministry, the church will encourage them to get the needed training both theoretical and practical, before they become full time pastors.

• In times of emergency (like natural calamities), we would put a team of specialists and volunteers together, according to the required need. 
  These may include exclusive medical teams, exclusive teachers' teams, computer teams or any other specialized teams. For example, in case of a natural calamity we may mobilize a team of medical doctors to go and work in that particular area of need.

• Should have been part of the church for a minimum of three years
• Must have the born again experience>
• Must have taken water baptism
• Should be recommended by one of the pastoral team members
• Must have the call of God upon their lives for missions and this should have been demonstrated through their involvement in the church activities
