We are all in the game, one way or the other, playing either on God’s side or the devil’s! Now while we are at it we can choose to either ‘play the game’ or ‘change the game’. If you are playing on God’s side, then you are definitely not just a player, but a GAME CHANGER.

Guess why? Because the Bible says He has already won the victory for us!  Oftentimes, we forget the fact that the ultimate Game-Changer has done whatever it takes, to make us the winners and that’s what makes all the difference. There is nothing, absolutely nothing we could do, except to believe that we are already on the winning side once we accept Christ as our personal savior. Yeah, something that’s too good to be true!

Our approach would be way too different when we begin to play this game, keeping in mind that we’ve already won it. The one thing we cannot afford to do while in the game is to be idle, because if that’s the case then we are simply out of the game. We are on-the-go, no matter what.

Interestingly, in this game right here, to be a game changer you just need to:

Start where you are:

Guess what gives you the confidence to start where you are? Knowing without a shadow of doubt, that it’s not you who is fighting the battle, but God. For all you know, He is all the more creative, all the more strategic, all the more obsessive, and most importantly, all the more passionate about winning this game than you. Once you know this, you just dive in and don’t wait for anything or anybody.

2 Chronicles 20:15b: For the battle is not yours, but God's.

Do what you can:

You play like you don’t care! Yes, you read it right! You don’t really care what happens. At times when it feels like you are losing, you know it’s just for the moment and you focus on the bigger picture. You are not crippled by the fear of failure because you know what the end of the game is going to be like.

John 16:33b: But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Use what you have:

If you have His Word hidden in your heart you have it all! The Bible says that all scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that you may be complete, fully equipped for every good work (2Timothy 3:16-17). If only we realize that we are FULLY (mind you not partly) equipped for EVERY good work, nothing or nobody of this world can resist you from winning the game.

1 John 4:4b: The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

So you see, the beauty of this game is that you just need to point to the ultimate Game Changer and you are good to go! The ball is in your court!!
