Welcome to our Missions Convention Sunday!

Since our first Missions Convention in 2009, we have made significant progress. We were able to partner with several of our pioneering workers and Colleges.  Besides, our Carecells have been involved in taking team on Mission trips.  Our summer outreach was a blessing to several hundreds of children and our youth went out on Mission trips to several places.

We want to sincerely thank each one of you for your prayer and financial partnership in the Missions Program of our Church.

All born-again believers have been charged with the responsibility of sharing the Gospel. For us, evangelism is not an option; it is an obligation. It is not a choice to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed. It is not a gift; it is a responsibility.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, “Here am I; send me.”
- Isaiah 6:8

Missions is all about bringing the good news to a lost and fallen world. At New Life, ALL of us can get involved in Missions.
-       All of us can definitely pray
-       Most of us can give to support financially
-       Many of us can actually go on a short-term Mission trip
-       Some would hear the call to give their lives into full time Missions

When Apostle Paul sensed God’s call, he invested the remaining thirty years of his life preaching the gospel and planting churches over the whole civilized world.

A woman once approached the great evangelist D. L. Moody to criticise his method of evangelism. The woman said to him, “Mr. Moody, I don’t like the way you do evangelism!”
“I agree with you. I don’t like it either. Well, ma’am, let me ask you, how do you do it?” Moody asked.
She replied, “I don’t!”
Moody responded, “Well then, I like my way of doing it better than your way of not doing it!”
"The Lost matter to God and the lost should matter to us too.”

One of the key marks of a true disciple of Christ is an interest in personal evangelism. At this Mission Convention, take time to listen to what the Holy Spirit will whisper into your heart. And like the prophet, you could answer “Here am I, send me”

“If a commission by an earthly king is considered an honour,
how can a commission by a Heavenly King be considered a sacrifice?”
― David Livingstone
