Divine Healing Is For YOU

Once, the well-known British Evangelist, Smith Wigglesworth was traveling in a railway coach.  Two others on the train - a mother and daughter were very sick. Wigglesworth said to them, “Look, I’ve something in the bag that will cure every case in the world. It has never been known to fail.” The mother and daughter were quite interested, so the minister went on to tell them about this “remedy.” When they finally asked for a dose, he opened the bag, took out his Bible, and read them the verse that says, “I am the Lord, who heals you”

At New Life Assembly we believe you can be healed. Sickness and disease didn't come until the fall of man. They came as a direct result of sin. Jesus has already made a way for us to be healed though his death on the Cross. Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

750 years before the birth of Jesus, the Prophet Isaiah prophesied “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). And after our Lord’s death and resurrection, Apostle Peter reiterated “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (I Peter 2:24) It is a done deal!

In the Old Testament, God revealed himself as Jehovah Rapha “The Lord our Healer.” Exodus 15:26 “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

In His earthly ministry, Jesus healed multitudes of people. Matthew 4:23 declares “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing ALL manner of sickness and ALL manner of disease among the people.” Jesus Healed ALL People. It is God’s Divine Will to heal YOU.
